Origins of Comfort
In 1967, John Andersen, a Danish Canadian with a vision, introduced Danish down duvets to Canada, setting the stage for a unique journey into the world of comfort. Starting with Soldberg's Upholstery, the business eventually developed into the Daniadown you know it as today.
1970's
Local Roots, Quiet Growth
During the '70s, Daniadown quietly gained ground through local whispers and mentions in newspapers. A grassroots beginning that spoke volumes.

From Ashes to Adaptation
Facing a setback in 1981 when our original factory burned down, we spent the next five years navigating Vancouver, adapting until we found a new, permanent home.

In the '90s, John Andersen's daughters, Lisa and Katherine, took charge, infusing Daniadown with new ideas and youthful energy, shaping the company for a new era.

Our quality linen is harvested in France and crafted overseas into a beautiful duvet cover set. It is prewashed making it extra soft and giving you that natural "lived-in" look.
Details.
The duvet covers are sewn with a heavy hidden button placket at the end of the bed serving to not only hide the button closure, but to provide a substantial finish to the bottom of the cover. The pillowcases are sewn with a generous housewife tuck so your pillows never peek out.
