What are the benefits of a cotton duvet cover?

Do cotton duvet covers shrink?

Cotton duvet covers can shrink slightly when washed and dried, especially if exposed to high heat. To minimize shrinkage, wash in cold or warm water and tumble dry on a low heat setting. At Daniadown we oversize our duvet covers to account for residual shrinkage.

How do I insert and secure a duvet inside the cover?

To insert a duvet, turn the cover inside out, attach the duvet to the cover's corners, and then turn the cover right side out, pulling the duvet inside. Shake to evenly distribute the duvet. Secure the zipper or button closure.

The zipper is on the side of this cover which makes it way less comfy to sleep in. We have a classic king size comforter and since this one has the zipper on the wrong side, the little ties don't work to keep it in place as our king size comforter only has them on top and bottom but not sides. Oh well. It's usable but would not purchase again.
