What is Egyptian cotton?

Egyptian cotton is a type of cotton grown in Egypt and renowned for its superior quality and luxurious feel.

What makes Egyptian cotton more desirable than other cottons?

Egyptian cotton is famous for its extra-long staple (ELS) fibers. These fibers are longer than those of regular cotton, resulting in finer and smoother yarns. The yarns are woven into high thread count fabrics that are both soft and durable. In addition, Egyptian cotton is highly breathable and absorbent which keeps you cool and comfortable while you sleep.

Why is 400 threadcount so popular?

We have elected to weave our Egyptian cotton into a fine 400 thread count fabric as it offers the best combination of comfort and breathability. In general, lower thread count sheets are made with thicker threads and are often less soft to the touch, while higher thread count sheets are so tightly woven that air cannot move freely through the sheet. Our 400 count Egyptian sheets offer the best combination of softness and breathability to give you a more comfortable sleep.

perfect duvet cover

I purchased this duvet cover for my summer silk duvet. The cover is light weight and partners well with the duvet. It washed up well and was easy to use - really like that it has ties in each inside corner to secure the duvet. Very pleased with both purchases.

Fits great.

It fits my 3N1 Duvet perfectly. The tie downs in the corners keep the duvet in place. Soft feel to the Egyptian cotton.
