What are the benefits of a cotton duvet cover?

Do cotton duvet covers shrink?

Cotton duvet covers can shrink slightly when washed and dried, especially if exposed to high heat. To minimize shrinkage, wash in cold or warm water and tumble dry on a low heat setting. At Daniadown we oversize our duvet covers to account for residual shrinkage.

How do I insert and secure a duvet inside the cover?

To insert a duvet, turn the cover inside out, attach the duvet to the cover's corners, and then turn the cover right side out, pulling the duvet inside. Shake to evenly distribute the duvet. Secure the zipper or button closure.

The pattern is lovely and I really am going to enjoy having this on my Duvet.

Nice duvet cover, but...

We purchased this duvet cover to go with a Daniadown Duvet we already own. It's fit is perfect but we noticed that the opening (zipper) is in the wrong spot. If our duvet is aligned on the bed so the zipper is at the foot of the bed the floral pattern is sidways compared to the photo on the website. Or are the zippers on daniadown duvet covers on the side of the bed?

Yes, we design our duvet covers so the zipper closure is on side. This allows for a longer opening across all sizes of duvet covers as well as keeping the zipper away from your face while you sleep, when the design is multi-directional.We also use hidden zippers so they are never seen but can be hard to find sometimes.Enjoy your new duvet cover.
